Witnessing today was great work. Even though I suffer from major ptsd. I woke up this morning, really not feeling well mentally but I forced myself to go out and do Jehovah’s will. As the day carried on the brother’s really livened me up. I was able to do the last house and actually handed out a watchtower publication. He will put the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.—Matt. 25:33.

Visited a sister today in the hospital. She has been a Jehovah witness for almost 40 years and you could still the glow in her eyes when you mentioned the name Jehovah. We read the daily textDo not be afraid. I will help you. Isa. 41:13. Jehovah purposed that his people proclaim the good news on an unprecedented scale in our day, and nothing can prevent him from accomplishing that purpose. Just as he delivered the ancient nation of Israel from Babylon, Jehovah has rescued his present-day servants from “Babylon the Great,” the world empire of false religion. (Rev. 18:1-4) He has taught us for our own good, has blessed us with peace, and has helped us to impart his teaching to others. (Isa. 48:16-18) This does not mean that Jehovah exercises his foresight so that he knows and then influences every development on earth in order to advance the Kingdom-preaching work. Some conditions have favored our witnessing activity, but only with Jehovah’s help have we been able to endure such situations as persecution and other hardships that make it difficult to carry out our commission in this world that is lying in Satan’s power.—1 John 5:19. w15 2/15 4:2

I am glad to be able to be a part of the Jehovah Witnesses. My past life was anything but righteous. I was a solo soldier, U.S Navy corpsman for 1st and 2nd marine division kicked out from injuries I gained during Navy Seal training, Prize Fighter, Quick tempered, Gang life, Drugs, Wild parties. I was always paranoid, I kept Guns everywhere in the house and trained 4 to 6 hours a day on every weapon from small arms to sniper shooting. If there ever was a real life Rambo it was me. I had no peace of mind and it drove me to the brink of insanity. I never feared death and at the end I wanted death because I had ruined my mind. I trained so hard to be the perfect soldier and that was my pride because I knew if it was me on the battlefield out numbered 3 to 1 I knew I would come out victorious. War consumed me. My wife’s dad who was a baptized witness showed me a chapter in the bible teach book on why does god allow suffering? That chapter changed my mind and heart forever. Now the fight is like Paul, I am fighting two people within me and I stand today a happy man. Not completely cured, not completely free, not completely healthy mentally but I give my all to Jehovah everyday and for that happiness is abundant for me and my wife.

I am 6 months into becoming a baptized Jehovah witness. I am attending the Field Ministry and it feels so great to carry and spread the word of Jehovah. I have my first bible reading this week at Songs of Solomon chapter 2:1-17. My brothers and sisters are amazing. I feel like a new man and a true soldier for Jehovah. I am hoping to be baptized in April.
